Israelites

The Israelites were a historical group of people who were descendants of the biblical patriarch Jacob, also known as Israel. They are primarily associated with the ancient kingdom of Israel and the later kingdom of Judah, as described in the Hebrew Bible. The Israelites are considered the ancestors of the Jewish people, and their history and culture have had a profound influence on the development of Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. The Israelites are known for their monotheistic religious beliefs, their adherence to the Mosaic Law, and their struggles for independence and survival in the ancient Near East.
