Islamic Religion
Islamic Religion refers to the monotheistic beliefs, practices, and teachings of the followers of Islam. It is based on the belief in one God, Allah, as revealed through the Prophet Muhammad in the holy book of the Quran. Followers of Islam, known as Muslims, adhere to the Five Pillars of Islam which include the declaration of faith, prayer, fasting during the month of Ramadan, giving to charity, and pilgrimage to Mecca at least once in a lifetime if able. Islamic teachings also encompass moral and ethical guidelines for personal conduct, social justice, and community welfare. Islamic religious practices include daily prayers, fasting, charity, and participation in religious festivals and rituals.
