Jesus

Definition of Jesus as it relates to Religions, Monotheism, Quran, Prophethood, Prophet Isa

Jesus, also known as Isa in Arabic, is a central figure in the monotheistic religions of Christianity and Islam. In Islam, Prophet Isa, as he is referred to in the Quran, is considered one of the most important prophets sent by Allah to guide humanity towards the right path. He is believed to have been born of the Virgin Mary through the power of the Holy Spirit, and to have performed many miracles during his lifetime. The Quran teaches that Prophet Isa preached the message of monotheism and the oneness of God, just as other prophets before him had done. He is also considered a symbol of peace, love, and compassion. In the broader context of the hierarchy, Jesus's teachings and life serve to illustrate the importance of prophethood, and the role that prophets have played in preserving and promoting the message of monotheism throughout history.
