Modern Philosophy
Modern Philosophy is a subfield of Philosophical Texts, which in turn is a subset of Philosophy Books, all of which are themselves subsets of the larger category of Books. This area of study is characterized by its focus on the theories and ideas developed by philosophers from the 17th to the 19th century. It encompasses a wide range of topics, including metaphysics, epistemology, ethics, and political philosophy, and is marked by an emphasis on reason, individualism, and skepticism. Key figures in Modern Philosophy include Descartes, Locke, Hume, and Kant, among others. This subfield provides valuable insights into the development of Western thought and continues to influence contemporary philosophical discourse.
