Monitors

Definition of Monitors as it relates to Electronics, Computers, Computer Peripherals, Sound Boards

Modems are electronic devices used to establish communication between two computers or networks, allowing data transfer via telephone lines, cable connections, or wireless signals. As computer peripherals, they bridge the gap between a user's computer and an internet service provider (ISP) or local area network (LAN). Modems translate digital information from the computer into analog signals for transmission over communication channels, while also converting incoming analog signals back to digital data for the computer to interpret. They play a crucial role in enabling high-speed internet access and facilitating remote work, online gaming, and file sharing.
