Computer Components

Definition of Computer Components as it relates to Electronics, Computers, Audio Equipment, Tablets

Computer Components encompass the various elements that make up a computer system, functioning together to process, store, and transmit data. These components range from central processing units (CPUs) that execute instructions, to memory modules storing information temporarily, and storage devices such as hard drives or solid-state drives for long-term data storage. Additionally, expansion cards like graphics or network adapters can broaden a computer's capabilities, while power supplies ensure all components receive necessary electrical current. Input and output devices, such as keyboards, mice, monitors, and speakers, facilitate interaction between users and computers. As electronics, these components may be found in computers, audio equipment, tablets, and other digital devices.
