It involves designing, coding, and modifying websites according to client specifications using programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and server-side scripting languages like PHP or Ruby on Rails. Web development also encompasses content management system (CMS) setup, database integration, application development, network security configuration, and website testing and optimization for various devices and browsers. It requires a strong understanding of web standards, usability, accessibility, and user experience design principles. As part of Software Design, web development focuses on building functional and visually appealing websites that effectively communicate the intended message to users while ensuring seamless performance and security.
