Chinvat Bridge
The Chinvat Bridge, also known as Cinvat Peretu or the Bridge of the Requiter, is a fundamental concept in Zoroastrianism mythology. It serves as a metaphysical divide between the physical world and the spiritual realm, often depicted as a narrow, sword-edged bridge that each soul must cross upon death. The righteous, guided by Asha (truth and righteousness), traverse it with ease, while the wicked fall into the abyss of darkness. This bridge symbolizes the judgment and consequences of one's actions in life, ultimately determining their fate in the afterlife.
