Huayan Buddhism
Huayan Buddhism, also known as Avatamsaka school, is a tradition of Mahayana Buddhism emphasizing the interpenetration and unity of all phenomena. It is deeply influenced by Taoist philosophy, incorporating its concepts of yin and yang, and the One and Many. Huayan thought revolves around the idea of "li" (principle) and "shi" (phenomena), asserting that they are ultimately inseparable and interdependent. This school is renowned for its Flower Garland Sutra, which explores the intricate relationships between reality's infinite aspects. In the hierarchy of Philosophy, Huayan Buddhism serves as a unique intersection where religious, Taoist, and philosophical ideas converge, shedding light on interconnectedness and the nature of existence.
