Definition of Worship as it relates to Religions, Atheism, Confucianism

Worship in the context of Confucianism involves the veneration and respect of ancestors and traditional cultural figures. It is not a central aspect of atheism, which rejects the existence of deities and thus worship of them. In contrast, many religions incorporate some form of worship, often involving prayer or offerings to a higher power or powers. Confucian worship is a way to honor and remember one's ancestors and maintain cultural traditions, rather than seeking divine intervention or guidance.
