Monolatry
Monolatry is the belief and worship of a single god, while acknowledging the existence or possible existence of other gods. It differs from monotheism in that it does not deny the existence of other deities, but rather focuses devotion and worship on one particular god. In the context of polytheism, which recognizes multiple gods with distinct personalities and domains, monolatry represents a more focused form of religious practice. It is related to agnosticism in that it allows for the possibility of other gods, while still maintaining a strong commitment to the worship of one particular deity. Within the broader category of religions, monolatry reflects a specific approach to understanding and engaging with the divine, characterized by exclusive devotion to a single god within a pantheon of many.
