Geysers
Geysers are natural landmarks that periodically erupt, shooting boiling water and steam into the air. They can be found in volcanic areas and are caused by the buildup of pressure from heated water beneath the earth's surface. The eruptions can reach heights of several hundred feet and can last for several minutes. Geysers are a unique and fascinating natural phenomenon, and they add to the diversity of the natural world. They are a type of hot spring that is known for their explosive eruptions, which occur when the water in the geyser becomes superheated and turns into steam. This rapid expansion of steam creates the force needed to propel the water and steam out of the geyser's opening. Geysers are fragile ecosystems that can be easily disturbed by human activity, so they are often protected as part of national parks and other conservation areas.
