Vocational Education: A branch of education focused on providing practical skills and knowledge necessary for specific trades or occupations, often leading directly to employment upon completion. It encompasses various fields such as healthcare, cosmetology, automotive repair, welding, plumbing, construction, and many more. Vocational education may be offered in high schools, technical colleges, or vocational schools. It can also include religious vocations such as becoming a priest, nun, or other religious leader. World religions may offer their own form of vocational education for those pursuing roles within the faith. The goal of vocational education is to prepare individuals for successful careers and lifelong learning in a particular field.
