Definition of Ethics Education as it relates to Education, Religious Education, Elementary Education

Ethics Education: The systematic instruction and development of moral reasoning, decision-making, and character in individuals, with the aim of fostering ethical behavior, critical thinking, and responsible citizenship. This education may take place within various contexts, including religious and secular settings, and at different levels of instruction, such as elementary education. It encompasses the study of moral principles, values, and virtues, as well as the examination of real-world ethical dilemmas and their solutions. The ultimate goal is to help individuals become ethically aware and responsible members of society who are capable of making informed decisions that promote the common good.
