Collaborative learning is an educational approach that emphasizes group work and shared responsibility in the learning process. It involves students working together to solve problems, complete tasks, or create products, with the goal of deepening their understanding of the subject matter. Instructional technology can facilitate collaborative learning by providing tools for communication, collaboration, and feedback. Gamification, which is the use of game elements in non-game contexts, can also support collaborative learning by making group activities more engaging and motivating. In a collaborative learning environment, students learn from each other as well as from the instructor, and they develop important skills such as communication, teamwork, and critical thinking.
