"Early Childhood Education" refers to the education of children from birth to approximately age eight, encompassing the stages of infancy, preschool, and primary school. It is concerned with fostering holistic development in cognitive, emotional, social, physical, and language domains during these critical early years. English Language Learning (ELL) falls within this category, as it pertains to teaching young children whose first language is not English the necessary skills and knowledge to communicate effectively in an English-speaking environment.
