Fauvist Art
Suprematism is an artistic movement originating in Russia around 1915, characterized by its emphasis on fundamental geometric forms and the exploration of their expressive potential. Founded by Kazimir Malevich, it sought to break away from traditional figurative art and create a new visual language that prioritized pure sensation over representation. The movement aimed to evoke feelings of spirituality, transcendence, and liberation through abstract compositions devoid of any recognizable objects or figures. In Suprematism, the emphasis is on the dynamic interplay of shapes, lines, and colors, resulting in a visual experience that is both powerful and meditative.
