Cubist Sculpture
Abstract Cubism is an artistic movement characterized by the fragmentation and reassembly of objects into geometric shapes, often presented in an abstract manner. It builds upon the principles of Cubism, which emphasizes multiple perspectives and dimensionality, but pushes further towards abstraction, resulting in a style that is less concerned with representing reality and more focused on exploring form, color, and composition for their own sake. In this category, figurative art may be present, but it is heavily stylized and distorted, often to the point of being unrecognizable, as the emphasis remains on the formal qualities of the work rather than its subject matter.
