Site Analysis
Site Analysis refers to the comprehensive evaluation and understanding of a given site's physical, environmental, and cultural characteristics in order to inform the design process in Landscape Architecture and Architecture. This involves studying the topography, soil, climate, vegetation, hydrology, views, access, and existing infrastructure of the site, as well as its historical and cultural context. The goal is to gain a deep understanding of the site's unique qualities and constraints, which can then be used to inform design decisions that are sensitive to the site and responsive to the needs of the project. Site Analysis is a crucial step in the design process, providing a foundation for the creation of meaningful and sustainable landscapes and buildings.
