Gravity

Gravity is a fundamental force in nature that causes objects with mass to be attracted to one another. It is responsible for the phenomenon of weight and is the reason why objects fall to the ground when dropped. Gravity is described by Isaac Newton's law of universal gravitation, which states that the force of gravity between two objects is directly proportional to the product of their masses and inversely proportional to the square of the distance between them. In the theory of general relativity developed by Albert Einstein, gravity is explained as the curvature of spacetime caused by mass and energy.
