Giant Stars
Giant stars are massive stars that have exhausted their core hydrogen fuel and expanded in size. They are characterized by their large size, high luminosity, and relatively cool surface temperatures compared to other stars. Giant stars are in the later stages of their evolution and are often red in color. These stars play a crucial role in the life cycle of a star, eventually shedding their outer layers to form nebulae and enriching the surrounding space with heavy elements.
