Flowstone

Flowstone is a type of speleothem, or mineral deposit, that forms in caves as water containing dissolved minerals trickles down walls or over rocks. It typically appears as smooth sheets or ribbons of calcite or other minerals, often creating wavy or draping patterns. Flowstone can vary in color depending on the minerals present, ranging from white and translucent to brown, red, or even black. It is commonly found in limestone caves and is formed over long periods of time as the minerals gradually build up and solidify.
