Field Events
Field Events refer to a group of track and field athletic competitions that take place on a field rather than a track. These events typically involve jumping, throwing, or a combination of both. Common field events include the long jump, high jump, triple jump, pole vault, shot put, discus throw, javelin throw, and hammer throw. Athletes compete in these events individually or as part of a team, with the goal of achieving the greatest distance or height in their respective disciplines. Field events require a combination of strength, speed, agility, and technique in order to be successful.
