A drum set is a collection of drums, cymbals, and other percussion instruments that are played together by a single musician. The typical drum set includes a bass drum, snare drum, tom-toms, hi-hat cymbals, ride cymbal, and crash cymbal. The drummer uses drumsticks, brushes, or mallets to strike the various components of the drum set in order to produce a wide range of sounds and rhythms. Drum sets are commonly used in various genres of music, including rock, jazz, pop, and more.
