Drum Set Timpani Xylophone Marimba
A drum set is a collection of drums, cymbals, and other percussion instruments typically played by a single musician using drumsticks or brushes. Timpani, also known as kettle drums, are large, bowl-shaped drums with a foot pedal mechanism used to change the pitch. Xylophones are percussion instruments consisting of wooden bars that are struck with mallets to produce musical tones. Marimbas are similar to xylophones but have larger resonators underneath the bars to create a richer sound.
