Dolphin Species

Dolphin species are marine mammals that belong to the family Delphinidae. They are known for their playful behavior, high intelligence, and social nature. Dolphins are carnivorous animals with a diet consisting mainly of fish and squid. There are about 40 different species of dolphins, ranging in size from the small Maui's dolphin to the larger orca, or killer whale. Dolphins are found in oceans and seas around the world, and are highly adapted to their aquatic environment with streamlined bodies, flippers for swimming, and blowholes for breathing.
