Computational Biology
Computational Biology involves the development and application of data-analytical and theoretical methods, mathematical modeling, and computational simulation techniques to study biological systems. This interdisciplinary field combines biology, computer science, statistics, mathematics, and engineering to analyze and interpret complex biological data, such as genetic sequences, protein structures, and biological networks. The goal of computational biology is to gain a better understanding of biological processes, predict how biological systems will behave, and ultimately improve human health and the environment.
