Barnacles

Barnacles are small marine crustaceans that attach themselves to hard surfaces in the ocean, such as rocks, piers, and the hulls of ships. They have a hard shell-like outer covering and feathery appendages that they use to filter feed on plankton and other small particles in the water. Barnacles are known for their ability to cling tightly to surfaces, often forming dense colonies that can be difficult to remove.
