Arctic Wolf

The Arctic Wolf is a subspecies of the grey wolf (Canis lupus) that primarily inhabits the Arctic regions of North America and Greenland. Known for its thick white fur that helps it blend in with the snowy landscape, the Arctic Wolf is well-adapted to the harsh conditions of its environment. These carnivorous predators primarily hunt musk oxen, caribou, and Arctic hares in order to survive the frigid temperatures and scarce food sources of the Arctic tundra. Arctic Wolves are highly social animals, living in packs that are led by an alpha pair and exhibit complex social behaviors and communication.
