Zoroastrian Beliefs
Zoroastrian beliefs refer to the religious tenets and principles of Zoroastrianism, an ancient Iranian religion founded by the prophet Zoroaster. Central to Zoroastrian beliefs is the concept of dualism, which posits the existence of two opposing forces: Ahura Mazda, the benevolent god of light and truth, and Angra Mainyu, the destructive spirit of darkness and deceit. Followers of Zoroastrianism believe in the importance of leading a virtuous life, upholding principles such as honesty, righteousness, and charity. Other key beliefs include the emphasis on individual responsibility, the idea of judgment after death, and the ultimate triumph of good over evil. Rituals such as prayer, purification, and fire worship are integral to the practice of Zoroastrian beliefs.
