Yogurt Manufacturing
The process of producing yogurt, a dairy product made by fermenting milk with live bacterial cultures, typically Lactobacillus bulgaricus and Streptococcus thermophilus. Yogurt manufacturing involves pasteurizing milk, adding the live cultures, incubating the mixture to allow the bacteria to ferment the milk sugars into lactic acid, and then cooling and packaging the finished product for distribution and sale. Various flavors, sweeteners, and additional ingredients may be added during the manufacturing process to create different types of yogurt products.
