Worker Cooperatives
Worker cooperatives are businesses that are owned and operated by the employees. Each worker has an equal say in the decision-making process of the cooperative, and profits are distributed among the workers based on their contributions to the business. This democratic structure allows workers to have more control over their work environment and can lead to higher job satisfaction and productivity. Worker cooperatives are based on the principles of cooperation, self-responsibility, democracy, equality, and solidarity.
