Woolly Monkeys

Woolly monkeys are a group of large primates native to South America, known for their dense fur that provides insulation in their tropical habitats. They have long, prehensile tails that aid in climbing and swinging through the trees, and typically live in small social groups. Woolly monkeys are primarily arboreal, spending most of their time high in the canopy feeding on fruits, leaves, and insects. They are known for their vocalizations, which can be loud and varied, serving to communicate with group members and establish territory. Woolly monkeys play an important role in the ecosystem as seed dispersers, helping to maintain the health of their forest habitats.
