Wolframite

Wolframite is a mineral consisting of iron and manganese tungstates. It is the main ore of the metal tungsten and typically appears as a black to brownish-black metallic mineral with a submetallic to resinous luster. Wolframite is commonly found in hydrothermal veins and is often associated with other minerals such as quartz, cassiterite, and scheelite. It has a high density and is used in the production of tungsten metal, which is known for its high melting point and hardness.
