Light exposure should be minimized as much as possible since UV rays can degrade wine's quality by breaking down its chemical compounds. This is why wine bottles are typically tinted green or brown. Vibration can disturb the sediment in wine and affect its flavor, so wine storage areas should be quiet and stable. Wine storage options include wine fridges, cellars, and racks designed specifically for storing wine bottles horizontally to keep the cork moist and prevent air from entering. Proper wine storage ensures that wines develop their full potential and can be enjoyed at their best.
