Wild Turkeys
Wild Turkeys are large, ground-dwelling birds native to North America. They are known for their distinctive plumage, which includes iridescent feathers and a fan-shaped tail. Wild Turkeys have a diet consisting mainly of nuts, seeds, fruits, and insects. They are social birds that typically live in flocks and communicate through vocalizations such as gobbling. Male Wild Turkeys, known as toms, are larger and more colorful than females, known as hens. During the breeding season, toms display their feathers and strut in an elaborate courtship ritual to attract mates.
