Westernisation
Westernisation refers to the process by which societies adopt the cultural, social, political, and economic norms and practices of Western countries, particularly those of Europe and North America. This may include the adoption of Western clothing, language, technology, values, and belief systems. Westernisation can lead to both positive outcomes, such as economic development and improved living standards, as well as negative consequences, such as the loss of traditional customs and cultural identity.
