Weak Agnosticism

Weak agnosticism is the belief that it is not possible to know for certain whether or not a higher power or gods exist. Those who adhere to weak agnosticism generally hold that the existence of a higher power is unknowable or beyond human comprehension. This position differs from strong agnosticism, which asserts that the existence of a higher power is inherently unknowable. Weak agnostics may also maintain a neutral stance on the existence of a higher power, neither affirming nor denying its existence.
