Waterspouts
Waterspouts are vertical columns of rotating cloud-filled wind extending from a cumulus cloud down to the ocean's surface. They are typically characterized by a funnel shape and are commonly associated with severe weather conditions, such as thunderstorms or hurricanes. Waterspouts can be classified into two main types: tornadic waterspouts, which are connected to a rotating thunderstorm, and fair-weather waterspouts, which form under generally fair weather conditions. These natural phenomena can pose a danger to marine vessels and coastal areas due to their unpredictable movement and potential to cause damage.
