Waterbucks
Waterbucks are large antelopes found in sub-Saharan Africa. They are known for their distinctive shaggy coats that vary in color from grayish-brown to reddish-brown. Waterbucks have long, spiral-shaped horns that curve backward and are present in both males and females. They are primarily found near water sources such as rivers and lakes, as they are excellent swimmers and use water as a means of escape from predators. Waterbucks are herbivores, feeding on grasses and aquatic plants. They are social animals, often forming small herds led by a dominant male.
