Water Monitors
Water monitors are large, carnivorous reptiles that are typically found in or near bodies of water. They have long, muscular bodies, powerful jaws, and sharp teeth, which they use to hunt for fish, birds, and other small animals. Water monitors have long, forked tongues that they use to detect scents in the water, helping them locate prey. These reptiles are excellent swimmers and can often be seen basking on rocks or logs along the water's edge.
