Wassailing
Wassailing is a traditional British custom that involves singing and drinking to toast the health and prosperity of orchards and crops. Participants typically gather around fruit trees, sing songs, pour cider or other beverages at the base of the trees, and make noise to scare away evil spirits. Wassailing is often practiced during the winter months, particularly around Christmas and New Year's.
