Volleyball Net
A volleyball net is a structure made of sturdy, flexible material that is stretched tautly between two vertical poles to create a barrier across a volleyball court. The net is positioned at a height of 7 feet 11 5/8 inches for men's games and 7 feet 4 1/8 inches for women's games. It is designed to divide the court into two equal halves and facilitate gameplay by preventing the ball from crossing over to the opposing team's side without being properly played. The net must be of specific dimensions and tension to meet official regulations for competitive play.
