Volleyball Courts
Volleyball Courts are flat, rectangular playing surfaces specifically designed for the sport of volleyball. They are typically made of sand, grass, or hard flooring material such as wood or concrete. The court is divided into two equal halves by a net, with each side marked by boundary lines. The standard dimensions of a volleyball court are 29.5 feet wide by 59 feet long. The net is positioned at the center of the court, standing at a height of 7 feet 11 5/8 inches for men's competition and 7 feet 4 1/8 inches for women's competition. Players on each team aim to score points by sending the volleyball over the net and into the opponent's court, while also trying to prevent the opposing team from doing the same.
