Vietnamese Conflict

The Vietnamese Conflict refers to the prolonged military struggle that took place in Vietnam from the late 1950s to the mid-1970s. It was primarily fought between the communist forces of North Vietnam, supported by the Soviet Union and China, and the non-communist forces of South Vietnam, supported by the United States and other anti-communist allies. The conflict resulted in significant loss of life and had far-reaching political, social, and economic consequences for both Vietnam and the countries involved.
