Undertenants
Undertenants are individuals who rent a portion of a property or dwelling from the main tenant who holds the primary lease or rental agreement with the landlord. They typically have a separate rental agreement with the main tenant and are not directly responsible to the landlord for the payment of rent or other lease obligations. Undertenants may have limited rights and responsibilities compared to the main tenant, depending on the terms of their agreement.
