Types of Atheism

Types of atheism refer to the various beliefs and perspectives within the broader atheistic worldview. These can include strong atheism, which asserts the non-existence of gods, weak atheism, which simply lacks belief in gods, and agnostic atheism, which holds that the existence of gods is unknown or unknowable. Other types may include implicit atheism, which refers to those who have not actively considered the existence of gods, and explicit atheism, which involves a conscious rejection of belief in gods. Additionally, some atheists may identify as secular humanists, rationalists, or skeptics, each emphasizing different aspects of their disbelief in gods.
