Turtles Tortoises
Turtles and tortoises are reptiles that belong to the order Testudines. They are characterized by a bony shell that encases their body, providing protection and support. Turtles are typically aquatic or semi-aquatic, with webbed feet for swimming, while tortoises are land-dwelling and have sturdy, column-like legs for walking on land. Both turtles and tortoises have a beak-like mouth and lay eggs on land. They come in a variety of sizes, shapes, and colors, with different species found all over the world in various habitats.
