Turkeys Wild

Wild turkeys are large birds native to North America. They are known for their distinctive plumage, which includes iridescent feathers and a fan-shaped tail. Wild turkeys are omnivores, feeding on a diet of insects, fruits, seeds, and small animals. They are skilled runners and fliers, able to reach speeds of up to 25 miles per hour on the ground and fly for short distances at speeds of up to 55 miles per hour. Wild turkeys are known for their elaborate courtship displays, which involve puffing out their feathers, strutting, and gobbling loudly. These birds are an important part of many ecosystems, serving as both predator and prey.
