Tumor Immunology is the study of how the immune system responds to cancer cells, including how cancer cells evade detection and destruction by the immune system, as well as how the immune system can be harnessed to target and eliminate tumors. This field explores the complex interactions between tumor cells and various components of the immune system, with the goal of developing immunotherapies and other treatments to enhance the body's natural ability to fight cancer.
